director

Dreams of a completely circular, fossil free economy and loves to do that together with bioneers as director of BlueCity Lab. Responsible for partnerships, projects and happy lab-team.

Jamie Hornis

trainee project manager

Jamie is a Junior project manager at the BlueCity Lab. Together with the BlueCity Lab team, she is working on a physical place where blue projects can flourish within the dynamic triangle of art, science and entrepreneurship.

Merlijn Boer

coördinator drylab

Circular economy starts with making good stuff that is repairable and recyclable - and stop using harmful materials. Product developer Merlijn works as coordinator in our drylab and loves to support bioneers in their prototyping.

Emma Van Der Leest

Emma Van Der Leest is a Biodesigner and researcher. Emma founded BlueCity Lab in 2016 with the goal to create an environment where boundaries dissolve, and where different disciplines benefit and learn from others.
